🔧 Successful Data Recovery for an Industrial Factory Hard Drive
We recently received a Quantum Fireball 3.5 Series – 8.4 GB hard drive from a large factory machine.
The drive contained critical machine data and arrived with a serious mechanical problem.
⚠️ The Problem:
The hard drive was making a loud mechanical noise and was not detected by the system.
🔍 Our Diagnosis:
After a complete diagnostic, we determined that the spindle motor had failed, preventing the drive from spinning properly and being recognized by the system.
🛠️ Physical Recovery in Our Clean Room Facility:
Because this was a mechanical failure, the drive required physical intervention. The physical recovery and parts replacement were performed inside our professional clean room facility, where the drive could be safely opened and serviced in a controlled environment.
We located the correct compatible donor drive, replaced the required components, and carefully completed the mechanical repair before beginning the data extraction process.

After the physical repair, we were able to access the drive and successfully recover all required customer data.
